Recycled Cypress is a small, hands on shop that produces unique, attractive and sturdy furniture that will last for generations.
Product Details
Each piece is crafted using traditional mortise and tenons combined with state of the art dowel technology. All materials have been hand salvaged from 120+ year old demolished, renovated and gutted New Orleans homes. Each board of reclaimed wood is of old growth (40- 60 growth rings per inch) and is a non renewable resource. Every board is extremely stable and unique. Needless to say, the material dictates the design and makes each piece dramatic and beautiful. Every piece is completed with a hand rubbed finish. The furniture made at Recycled Cypress is of the utmost quality. Sturdy, stable materials combined with solid construction mean each piece will last for many, many years.
